What is the bruusta?
The bruusta truly is a smarter way to brew kombucha at home. Our pressurized, closed system unit automates all the many steps in home-brewing; reducing the overall effort per batch to under 10 minutes and the entire process to only 6 days. Best of all, it retains the integrity and freshness of the best home-made kombucha.
Our simple 2 stage process is simple to follow with no mess, no SCOBY issues and no explosions. Just great kombucha.
During the first stage of brewing (4 days) the yeast combines with our unique bruu base to ignite the fermentation process. In the second stage (2 days) the bruusta goes into the fridge to create delicious naturally carbonated kombucha.

How many bruu bases do I need?
Each bruu base makes 21 servings of fresh kombucha and stays at its best for up to 21 days when brewed.
Our minimum is 2 packs per starter bundle, but you’re always in control and you can adjust your quantity after your first delivery.
Here’s what that looks like depending on your household:

If you’re enjoying a glass most days, 2 packs is usually perfect.
If you drink less often, you can choose a 6 or 8-week delivery so nothing builds up.
👫 Two people
If you’re both drinking regularly, 2–3 packs per month tends to work well.

If kombucha is a daily ritual in your home, you’ll likely need 3–4 packs per month.
